RYA Powerboat Level 1 and 2 Course
Safety Boats are needed for dinghy sailing
RYA Powerboat Level 2 for adults, teens and kids age 12+ can be taken if you would like to help on the Safety Boat
Under 18s are always supervised, and those newly passing their course always have an experienced powerboat driver with them after first qualifiying
Children aged 10+ can start with RYA Powerboat Level 1 or aged 12+ Level 2

RYA SAFETYBOAT COURSE
For adults and teens aged 16+ who already have their RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate and some experience already driving a safetyboat.
This course looks at rescue techniques on the water and gives practice with various watercraft to build skills. It is a requirement for those aiming to become Senior Dinghy Instructors and is encouraged for everyone helping in the Safetyboat Team.
